Job Overview
The Supervisor, Facilities Design is responsible for supporting all aspects of the Infection Control site drawing process including allocating resources, maintaining, and approving time off and hours worked, and day to day operations of the existing Facilities Design team. The position will be responsible for helping develop and maintain drawing templates and equipment blocks for both AutoCAD and Revit. This will include communication with both manufacturing factories and field employees to ensure that information is correct and maintained as products are updated and improved. This position will also serve as mentor to the other members of the team and will have to act as a high-level subject matter export on Getinge equipment.
Job Responsibilities and Essential Duties
* Manage, supervise, and prioritize the day-to-day performance of the Facility Design team including hiring decisions, training, employee development, and the establishment and evaluation of goals and performance objectives.
* Provide coaching and guidance to team members.
* Responsible for performance management, development and mentoring of staff.
* Communicate and drive compliance to established team performance metrics as required and hold staff accountable for compliance.
* Develop and maintain drawing templates and equipment blocks and drawings that meet industry standards.
* Propose effective design solutions to meet project goals.
* Review and recommend improvements to existing designs.
* Address design related questions and concerns in a timely manner and act as escalation contact for Facility Design team.
* Work independently by prioritizing, planning, and executing several projects efficiently.
* Attend project meetings to discuss any issues and design ideas.
* Work with the sales team to develop accurate quotes based on proposed layouts.
* Accurately prepare Submittal Drawing Packages with detail provided by Project Management team.
* Stay current with latest developments in design technologies and techniques and educate team on changes.
* Become a subject matter expert on all products in current corporate portfolio.
* Conduct occasional visits to customer sites and assist with visits for team as needed.
* Other tasks as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Design, Engineering, or equivalent education and experience.
* Minimum of 7 years relevant design experience, preferably in healthcare facility design industry.
* A minimum of 7 years of CAD/Revit drafting experience (Revit preferred).
* Advanced mechanical and electrical engineering aptitude including knowledge of schematic and other technical drawings.
* Knowledge and understating of AutoCAD, Revit and/or Salesforce or equivalent CRM platform.
* Prior supervisory experience preferred.

* Demonstrated ability to work under limited supervision and assist with training and coaching of others.
* Demonstrated knowledge of and proficient in using AutoCAD or Revit.
* Positive, proactive outlook and demeanor, with ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Project and time management skills.
* Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point
Salary range: $110-125k annually DOE
