About the Role:

Supervisor Inventory Management

Job Summary:

SelectRx is looking for an experienced detail oriented Supervisor inventory management to join our team. This individual should work with a high degree of vigilance and integrity possess intellectual curiosity demonstrate strong inventory management knowledge and teamwork abilities and have a passion for excellence.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This position has direct supervisory responsibilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understand all purchasing receipt and stock procedures. Be a backup to assist with all functions

  • Manage all onsite inventory techs to ensure proper inventory receipt timely stocking of all meds making adjustments to all inventory (scrap RTS)

  • Owner of all onsite inventory controls

  • Accountable for all inventory purchases placement and tracking

  • Understand the drivers of and limit write offs (RTS destroyed meds)

  • Ensure proper cycle counting on a recurring basis including inventory audits to ensure proper stocking

  • Monitoring and reporting inventory accuracy and shrinkage

  • Oversee and manage the pharmacy's inventory systems and processes including appropriate design and execution of controlling inventory space utilization inventory reconciliation expiration and lot tracking and inventory troubleshooting

  • Coordinate ordering receiving stocking and distribution of pharmaceutical supplies

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation

  • Analyze inventory data and make recommendations to control costs and reduce waste

  • Supervise and train inventory staff on procedures and proper handling of medications

  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws regulations and company policies

  • Collaborate with pharmacists to anticipate inventory needs based on prescription volumes limiting out of stock situations

  • Implement security measures to prevent drug diversion and theft

Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of pharmacy inventory management principles
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent organizational multitasking and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficiency with inventory management software and technology
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in recordkeeping
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage and lead a team
  • Preferred familiarity with controlled substances regulations
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to influence cross functionally
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
  • Physical ability to lift supplies and move inventory
  • Reading writing and speaking English is required

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree preferred

  • 3+ years experience in warehouse manufacturing high volume inventory management

  • Experience working in a pharmacy setting preferably in inventory management preferred

  • Prior supervisory experience preferred

Physical Requirements:
  • Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

  • Prolonged periods of standing at a desk and working on a computer.
