Career Opportunities with Southern Cleaning ServicesA great place to work.Careers At Southern Cleaning ServicesCurrent job opportunities are posted here as they become available.The Supervisor oversees one customer account including activities of employees engaged in cleaning and mandating premisesof office buildings, or other commercial or education buildings.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:Daily operations, ensuring all company standards and key performance indicators (KPIs) are metStrategic Account DevelopmentBudget and financial complianceOversee and manage site management project teams and site personnelPerform necessary administrative tasksPerform routine facility inspectionsDrive site safety policyInterview, hire and train new employeesResolve and respond to employee and customer issuesPurchase, issue and order necessary supplies and equipmentEnsure that all equipment is in good operating conditionAssign tasks to workers and inspect completed work for conformance to standardsOversee and follow-up on safety requirements with new employees including site specific trainingRecord employees' hours worked or supervise the time-keepingPerform the duties of workers you supervise, if neededResponsible for site inspections and send to customers updated monthly reports on the condition of the buildingsSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position supervises a number of employees and carries out those supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Minimum of 4 years of supervisory/management experience or degree from 4 year college or 2 year technical institute is preferred.Associates degree with technical training in plant engineering, or factory/plant maintenance, Bachelors preferredMinimum of 3 to 5 years of progressive experience and responsibility in a maintenance field, two of which were holding a supervisory position directing a multi-functional maintenance staffStrong mechanical aptitudes, and a working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systemsExcellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsAbility to define problems and resolve them quicklyFamiliarity with all current health and safety regulationsRequires strong supervisory skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication skillsAbility to work well with ever-changing priorities and/or situationsMust be a self-starter who can work well with people at all levels both in and out of the plantPhysical Demands and Work EnvironmentThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
