They will be a highly organized self-starter who thrives under pressure and efficiently manages workloads. The Field Services MDU Supervisor will report to the Area Manager and collaborate closely with the customer Construction Manager. This role focuses on coordinating the planning and execution of fiber optic network installations for Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) construction projects, working with contractors, customers, property managers, and other key stakeholders. Specific Job Duties Include: Oversee the deployment of fiber optic networks in Multi-Dwelling Unit (MDU) residential environments. Attend meetings and calls with customers, contractors, HOAs, and other stakeholders as necessary. Provide regular project status updates from the field, proactively managing and escalating issues as needed. Update and maintain Red line drawings. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, codes, regulations, and standards, and implement new processes set by the Operations department. Coordinate with customers and property managers to survey and manage MDU installations, addressing customer inquiries and concerns while developing effective solutions. Proactively engage with residents during construction to resolve issues. Qualifications and Requirements: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, including expertise in fiber optic networks and MDU construction standards/procedures. Proven experience in managing contractors and coordinating multi-site construction projects. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required. Technical Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage with all levels of the organization professionally. Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple requests simultaneously, consistently meeting deadlines. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and dependable work approach. Proactive, resourceful, and skilled in problem-solving and analysis. Adaptable and able to work effectively within a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities. Thorough understanding of MDU/MTU materials and components to meet build requirements. Facilitate ongoing collaboration between Engineering and Construction vendors to maintain strong working relationships. Coordinate site survey dates for Engineering vendors and communicate with property owners. Attend site survey meetings with both vendors to ensure alignment. Review and approve High-Level Designs from Engineering vendors. Review and communicate Low-Level Designs to installation teams. Coordinate construction start dates, notify property owners, and post door tags 48 hours in advance. Identify opportunities for cost-effective materials and design techniques. Recommend material inventories based on job-specific needs. Educate and engage customers by offering innovative business solutions. Serve as the Single Point of Contact for property owner-initiated complaints. Skills and Abilities: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required. Detail-oriented and extremely organized. Excellent time management skills. Work Environment/Physical Demands: This job operates in a professional office environment.
