Position summary:#Responsible for all management and technical aspects of section under his/her supervision. Performs work on patient specimens and assign workload to subordinates. Responsible for procedural development and maintenance of department manuals. Reviews annual staff competency. Actively participates in the department#s Quality Assurance / Improvement activities. May perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications: LICENSURE: CA State license as a Clinical Laboratory Scientist. EDUCATION: Bachelor#s Degree. EXPERIENCE: Five+ years experience as a staff CLS in an acute care facility. Preferred Qualifications:#EDUCATION: Master#s Degree.
