We are seeking a full-time mental health professional (LMSWs/LCSWs) with a required 2-3 years of clinical experience and 1 year preferred experience in supervising staff. The school-based mental health clinic supervisor position requires supervising a staff of 4 social workers while maintaining a reduced caseload and providing equitable, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed clinical therapy for children ages 5-18. Job responsibilities include: Supervising/conducting clinical supervision with a staff of 4 mental health professionals. Providing two weekly case consultations for school district staff. Providing and participating in individual and group clinical supervision for EPIC Long Island. Interfacing with EPIC Long Island's senior administrators. Maintaining a small caseload and providing individual, family, and group therapy to enrolled student population. Maintaining up-to-date electronic medical health records in accordance to DOH and OMH policy which includes assessments, contact notes, crisis management notes, and progress notes, as well as familiarity with comprehensive assessments, treatment plans, and discharge summaries. Utilizing and maintaining relevant logs to record data for grant needs. Maintaining outreach to students and their family to aid in engagement. Facilitating and leading EPIC staff in creating and administering trainings and push-ins for school body. Providing crisis intervention, as needed. Collaborating and liaising with teaching staff, guidance/psychology department, and administrators to meet children's mental health needs. Bilingual clinician preferred. The annual pay is $66,000.00.
