Supervisor Logistics oversees and coordinates the daily logistics activities in our Charlotte manufacturing facility. The
Logistics Supervisor is responsible for ensuring efficient operations in warehousing, inventory control, distribution, and transportation of goods. We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of logistics and supply chain principles, with a focus on optimizing workflows, managing teams, audits, and ensuring safety compliance.The
Supervisor Logistics will supervise a team of 12 plus members who support production needs from an inventory perspective for Air-cooled and Water-cooled Chiller production. This is an onsite 1st shift (6 am to 2 pm) role. Key Responsibilities- Supervise the activities of the team engaged in receiving, storing, testing, and shipping products or materials to ensure efficient movement of material
- Conduct inventory control, analysis, and classification according to material management procedure to ensure effective logistics deployment
- Prepare or direct preparation of correspondence, reports, and operations, maintenance, and safety manuals to establish the range and depth of spares, tools, and test equipment.
- Cross-functional collaboration with production, purchasing, and sales departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years experience leading a team within a manufacturing or warehouse environment
- 2+ years in logistics, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
Preferred Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration
- Understands basic management approaches such as work scheduling, prioritizing, coaching, and process execution
- Experience or knowledge in technical or operational practices
- leadership and team management skills
- Analytical mindset with experience in process improvement
- communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
- English written and verbal command
- Knowledge of inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle), and MS Office
