Opportunity
To directly supervise a rotating shift of hourly shipping/receiving workers engaged in the shipping/receiving of Vikrell molding compound and molded bathing components. Must meet posted shipping schedules while ensuring quality, safety, and cost standards are met.
Specific Responsibilities
* Assign labor force to appropriate tasks in line with efficient crewing needs and contractual requirements.
* Ensures that all process and quality specifications are followed in the shipping/receiving of scheduled components.
* Responsible to monitor shipping results and ensure that budget rates are exceeded.
* Maintain detailed knowledge of process and equipment in order to achieve optimum efficiency.
* Ensures that all shift employees are adequately trained in the necessary process procedures to accomplish assignments efficiently.
* Hold or participate monthly safety meetings with shift employees to communicate the importance of safe work practices. Monitor and enforce all safety rules.
* Administer labor contract, plant rules and handle appropriate discipline.
* Continuously strive to improve process, process equipment and procedures.
* Encourage shift employees to improve processes.
* Understand and enforce all procedures related to safe handling of hazardous materials and instruct subordinates in same.
* Trained on all applicable SOPs, LOPs, policies, and procedures.
Skills/Requirements
* College degree in related field or equal experience in a supervisory role.
* Experience and demonstrated success in leadership position requiring accomplishment of standards or goals through subordinates.
* Strong communication skills.

The salary range for this position is $69,800 - $87,950. The specific salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including the candidate's experience, their education, and the work location. Available benefits include medical, dental, vision & 401k.
