You will supervise numerous office functions, including but not limited to hiring, training, and evaluating team members, reviewing and improving policies and procedures, report generating, organizing schedules, and managing payroll. This role requires a significant amount of communication and coordination with other teams and is responsible for ensuring the goals of the department are promoted and achieved. This position is located in Waco, TX onsite Monday-Friday.What You Will Do:
  • Supervises the day-to-day operations of the assigned staff, including but not limited to managing workflow and work assignments for all team members, monitoring productivity, and observing backlogs.
  • Hiring, training, and evaluating employees and taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Manage employee work schedules and payroll reconciliation.
  • Work with other managers and support staff to ensure business needs are met and departmental goals are achieved.
  • Create and maintain organizational objectives.
  • Collect, organize, and store data for report generation.
  • Monitors and balances the United States Postal and express accounts.
  • Balances the postage funds, ensuring that postage is correctly charged to the relevant department account; verifies that all charges have been posted at the end of the month.
  • Manages, processes, and monitors the logistics of disposing of and recycling products.
  • Develop, review, and improve policies and procedures.
  • Implement recommendations with continual follow-up to ensure that changes are followed.
  • Monitors inventory and printing of agency supply material.
  • Additional department duties as needed by management.
What You Can Bring:
  • Some college coursework or bachelor's degree preferred (Not required).
  • At least 1 year of experience in a related managerial role is preferred.
  • At least 1 year of experience working in an office setting and performing clerical work is required.
  • Must maintain a valid, current driver's license.
  • Knowledge of postal regulations.
  • Knowledge of procedures relating to handling and processing postage charges.
  • Knowledge of commonly used Mail Accounting and System Tracking hardware and software.
  • Ability to work well with others and motivate a team in a high-volume production environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with experience in meeting deadlines.
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of computers, especially Microsoft Office.
  • Highly dependable and trustworthy.
