Job Summary: The Unit Supervisor supervises and coordinates activities of nursing personnel in patient care units, participates in planning work of assigned units and coordinates activities with other patient care units and related departments. Ensures that patients' needs are met and evaluates unit nursing care and performance. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to accomplish responsibilities. - Progressive experience in clinical and patient care. Eighteen months and previous charge supervisory experience required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Proficient in English, verbal and written communication skills, computer skills
- Current Louisiana RN license and current BLS certification
