Job Title: Supervisor of WFD Culture TrainingLocations:Goodwill North Central Texas -- 4005 Campus Drive, Fort Worth, Texas 76119 Salary:Based on Experience Work Hours:Full Time, Non-Exempt. Typical schedule of Monday through Friday, 8 am start time Benefits:Company paid basic term life, Paid Time Off, voluntary medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD and 401(k) General Job Duties: Act as a subject matter expert for the development of Workforce Development (WFD) training material and programs with a specific focus on departmental onboarding and mentoring new WFD staff to ensure they are trained consistently, updating materials twice a year (or more often, as needed) to ensure all staff have updated resource manuals for their positions that meet department standards. Provide bi-annual CPR training for WFD staff.Assess Workforce Development and mission services employees for knowledge and skill needs with a focus on the Workforce Development business, developing targeted training curricula based on the outcomes. Continuously monitor progress and effectiveness of WFD training programs; provide regular feedback to management and work closely with management to define and agree on program effectiveness, updates, and improvements as needed.Facilitate and lead WFD training classes using a variety of delivery methods. Training includes new WFD employee training, workshops, on-the-job training, and side-by-side coaching for workforce development positions. This includes originating, designing, and creating WFD training-related documents, materials, and presentations, as needed. Conduct monthly manager and supervisor training for the department to develop them as leaders. Display solid knowledge of career services industry, systems, course content, and materials.Stay informed about industry best practices, EEO legalities, and trends regarding DEI. Partner with the HR department proactively when creating content related to equal opportunity law, employment practices, conflict resolution, interviewing practices, affirmative action plans and other regulated employment practices so HR can provide advance input and final review. Develop and implement comprehensive workforce development DEI strategies, initiatives, and action plans that align with Goodwill North Central Texas' values and business goals. Be an active participant of the Agency's DEI committee, attending all meetings, and ensuring all DEI work done for WFD is made known to the committee.Collaborate across WFD teams to provide new initiatives to engage and retain staff and leadership, ensuring equal opportunity and working to eliminate biases in recruitment, hiring, onboarding, training, and career development processes. Conduct training and workshops to raise awareness and enhance understanding of DEI and WFD departmental issues, fostering a more inclusive and culturally competent workforce.Develop communication strategies to raise awareness of WFD cultural competence efforts and celebrate these achievements throughout the department through newsletters and updates. Visit all Workforce locations regularly to ensure consistent implementation of Workforce initiatives and ensure all locations are included in the overall development of workplace culture.Establish and maintain close working relationships with other internal program departments. Report on the progress of WFD team members during training periods (30/60/90 days, etc.). Maintain WFD employee training records and content (reports, training plans, videos) on various systems such as the Agency's learning management system (Goodwill NCT Academy), the agency's HRIS (UKG) and 3rd party training platforms such as Pryor.com and so on.Provides oversight to ensure managers are up to date with having their employees be 100% complete on all training assignments. To this end, monitor required training on a monthly and quarterly basis, providing delinquency and completion reports quarterly to the Workforce Development Leadership group. Produce targeted and tangible results by creating an effective and efficient WFD work environment using in person and virtual training. Conduct monthly WFD All Saff (SOD) meeting: create and distribute agenda with input from management; organize light refreshments; reserve room and ensure janitorial staff are notified.Acts as direct supervisor to WFD interns and support staff to ensure receptionist/administrative coverage at the front desk, clerical support for purchasing/inventory, and other items are maintained. Duties include hiring, training, workload oversight, performance management, performance evaluation, professional development and so on. Perform other responsibilities and duties as assigned.Skills/Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required. Masters preferred. Three years of experience with training program development and implementation or related area is required. Ability and willingness to work with varied training delivery software packages. Knowledge and working experience of technology tools required for delivery of effective and engaging remote learning. Technical background strongly recommended. Experience in change management a plus. High energy, hard worker. Ability to innovate in development and delivery of training content. Previous supervisory experience preferred.Physical Requirements: Office environment, mobile, ability to sit for long periods of time. This position will routinely travel to various worksites during the work day so must have reliable transportation. This position requires the incumbent to have communication capabilities, via cell phone and/or Smartphone technology.Legal Requirements: Documentation to satisfy I-9 requirements.
