The Utah Greenhouse Company, a proud member of the Mastronardi Group of Companies, is seeking a dedicated Bilingual Packhouse Supervisor to assist the Packhouse Manager in overseeing our Packhouse operations. In this role, you will ensure that our Packhouse operates smoothly and efficiently while upholding food safety standards and managing essential documentation. Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist the Packhouse Manager in overseeing daily labor needs to ensure a smooth and timely transition from production to packaging
- Complete and maintain accurate daily, monthly, and annual reports for Packhouse operations, ensuring all documentation complies with regulatory and company standards.
- Oversee the cleaning and sanitization of Packhouse lines and areas at the end of each shift. Implement sanitation procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Order labels and packaging materials as needed. Maintain inventory levels to ensure packing requirements are met and coordinate with shipping/receiving to manage supplies.
- Enforce food safety specifications and protocols, monitor compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and conduct regular inspections to maintain the highest standards of safety and quality.
- Maintain effective communication with the shipping/receiving team, providing updates on packaging inventory, daily requirements, and shipments.
- Foster a positive work environment by leading by example and providing continuous training and support to Packhouse staff. Ensure high performance and adherence to company standards
- Address employee-related issues and report mechanical problems to the Packhouse Manager for timely resolution.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Packhouse Manager to support Packhouse operations.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred.
