Job Description:

Supervisor Patient Transportation - Central Transportation Department at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA

Supervises daily operations of Central Transport. Plans and coordinates department work schedules, including dispatch, directs daily activities, and manages all resources to achieve goals under key performance indicators. Redirects staff and tasks, as needed, to meet or exceed customer expectations. Assists Transport Manager in selecting, training, evaluating, coaching, disciplining, and terminating employment, as necessary. Provides excellent customer service and patient care. Communicates with all internal customers, daily. Participates directly in dispatching and patient transport, as needed. Works weekends and holidays, as needed, to ensure continuity and quality of service and support for Transport employees. Other duties, as assigned.

Shift Details: Full-time. Day Shift, 40 hours a week

Required qualifications:

* Within 30 days of hire National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

* 1 year Patient Transport experience, or similar experience

Preferred qualifications:

* Associate's Degree

* 3 years Supervisory or lead experience
