Overview
Seeking (1) candidate for 2nd Shift (M-F 2pm-10:30pm) and (1) candidate for 3rd Shift (M-F 10pm-6:30am)
Manufactures sufficient quantities of quality products at or below budgeted production costs in order to meet demand | Follows established procedures for operating various manufacturing equipment |Sets up equipment feeding, speed and temperature for optimal performance | Selects and measures raw materials and parts to specifications to prepare for production processing | Resolves issues related to the organization's production, machinery, processing and/or packaging operations | Responsibilities are within the Manufacturing/Operations Function as a generalist or in a combination of Disciplines
Major Position Responsibilities
* Supervises production operations for assigned units or during an assigned shift.
* Supervises workers that operate production machinery, assemble items, perform quality
* control, or package goods for shipment.
* Notifies maintenance or engineering departments when equipment requires maintenance or repair.
* Monitors output of assigned area(s) against established schedules or quality goals.
* Coordinates the flow of work through the department and ensures that department has sufficient levels of inventory to meet demand and is staffed appropriately.
* Leads and directs the work of other employees and has some responsibility for personnel actions related to hiring, performance, and disciplinary actions with concurrence from the HR Directors & General Managers.
Basic Qualifications
Required Education: Associate's Degree OR Equivalent Combination of Relevent Education & Experience
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree
Discipline/Major: Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations or Business degree preferred
Years and Area of Experience (required for the role): 3-5 years experience in a relevant function
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Ability to work as part of a team. Decision-making skills. Problem/situation analysis. Project management skills. Planning skills.
Critical Professional Related Technical Skills; Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
