Description
+ Lead by example, with a positive outlook, through practice and work habit, a desire to follow all policies and procedures in the plant environment to develop and maintain a safe, efficient, high quality, low waste workplace and maximize the development of the personnel they lead.
+ Demonstrate the ability to accomplish tasks through thoughtful delegation to others in the work group.
+ Train, coach and enforce all company safety policies.
+ Train personnel to operate, adjust, repair, and maintain the machinery, performing the most complex work with the assistance of maintenance personnel.
+ Perform quality inspections periodically to ensure manufactured product meets standards.
+ Complete all required checklists and paperwork for each shift.
+ Perform operator duties as required.
+ Provide feedback to the Plant Manager or Operations Manager on the performance of the department and assist in performance reviews of the personnel they lead.
+ Maintain attendance records in order to reconcile payroll information.
+ Set print and gauge printers.
+ Must be able to work every other weekend and holidays as needed .
+ Ensure incoming shift comes into a clean work environment with equipment in good working order, even if this requires you to stay over past the end of your shift.
