- Supervises direct client care on campus.
- Ensures client/staff ratio including any one/one, stabilization, or other identified ratio needs.
- Ensures sight/sound requirements
- Ensures environment safety
- Ensures health and safety of clients
- Conducts shift change meetings
- Assures all scheduled appointments met
- Follows set schedule
- Assures staff follow schedule/assignments
- Coordinates with nursing and clinical staff
- Monitors and ensures all floor procedures are followed/completed
- Assures staff safe actions toward clients
- Coach staff on:
- Confirmation of when performing duties correctly/well (take staff aside quietly
- Correct staff actions (works effectively with the direct care workers and provides corrective feedback immediately)
- Monitor staff emergency interventions
- Conduct administrative review of restraint/seclusion for shift
- Encourage a nurturing environment
- Ensure safe/ethical treatment
- Ensure staff appropriate behavior to client
- Inform auxiliary staff of special circumstances that may affect client day
- Greet all guests with customer service approach
- Oversees documentation of each youths daily milieu and program events
- Assures all staff on shift have completed documentation
- Plays an integral part in the multi-disciplinary treatment team of SFCS Active member/participant of the UR/QA/PI process and meetings.
- Provides feedback to the Ex.Director for Performance Reviews.
- May conduct youth Council
- May conduct grievance process
- On call for emergency transportation
- On call for the PRTF program.
