Job Description:
Responsibilities:

The Security Supervisor's primary responsibility is to effectively lead security shift operations at assigned facilities, providing supervision and mentorship for assigned Security Officers. The Security Supervisor reports to the Regional Security Operations Manager and works closely with clinical leaders at the unit level to provide a safe and secure environment and highly visible security presence throughout assigned facilities.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements

  • Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.
  • High School Diploma - OR - GED - OR - Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of education.
  • Bacherlor's Degree preferred.

Experience

  • Background in healthcare security.
  • Background as a security supervisor or relevant supervisory experience.
  • Background in military, law enforcement, and/or corrections.
  • Lead a team in mental health institutions

Certification and Licensure

  • Valid PA Driver's License
  • IAHSS Basic Level Certification (CHSO) - Must be obtained within 6 months of hire/placement
  • IAHSS Advanced Level Certification (CAHSO) - Must be obtained within 12 months of hire/placement
  • IAHSS Supervisor Level Certification (CHSS) - Must be obtained within 18 months of hire/placement
  • FEMA IS-100.C
  • FEMA IS-906
  • FEMA IS-907
  • FEMA IS-200.C
  • BLS Certification via AHA
