Job Title: Supervisor, Specialty Imaging Services for the Nuclear Medicine Department

Location: UPMC Altoona

Schedule: Primary day shift with occasional off-shift check-ins as needed with on call rotation. No holidays, no weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

* Staff Management: Orient and evaluate staff annually, ensuring efficient workflow and timely communication.

* Operational Efficiency: Maintain optimal staffing levels and delegate responsibilities effectively.

* Performance Monitoring: Keep detailed records and reports for each staff member, addressing performance issues as needed.

* Staff Engagement: Recognize and empower staff while maintaining a patient-centered approach.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:

* Education: Associate's degree in radiologic technology preferred.

* Experience: 4 years of imaging experience required; previous supervisory experience preferred. Nuclear Medicine experience is preferred.

* Skills: Effective analytical ability and interpersonal skills.

* Licensure and Certifications:

* Graduate from an ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB Accredited School.

* ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS).

* Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required within 30 days of hire.

* Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal.

* Act 33 with renewal.

* Act 34 with renewal.

* Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal.
