Join UPMC Imaging at a Top 10 National Pediatric and Magnet-Designated Hospital! \n UPMC Children's Hospital is seeking a full-time Supervisor of Specialty Imaging Services to support the MRI Department in Lawrenceville!\n The Imaging Supervisor will work primarily daylight hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend daylight hours to support staff. Flexibility in availability for staff needs during off-hours is essential to ensure staff support and the review of off-shift workflow. No travel required!\n The Supervisor of Specialty Imaging Services ensures the efficient operations of the Imaging department. This role supervises staff and operations, ensures efficient work flow, delegates responsibilities, ensures efficient staffing levels, and provides timely communication to both staff and other members of management.\n \n Why UPMC Children's Hospital? Apply today! \n Responsibilities:\n\nEnsures staff are properly oriented and performs annual performance evaluations of staff.\nEnsures efficient work flow, delegation of responsibilities, efficient staffing levels, and timely communication to both staff and other members of management are maintained throughout the department.\nMaintains records and reports for each staff member to ensure performance is met and has crucial conversations with staff when needed.\nEngages in staff recognition and staff empowerment while maintaining a focus on the patient experience.\nAssists in the development, revision, and implementation of department policies, procedures, and QA initiatives.\nCommunicates and enforces policies and procedures to staff.\nMonitors employee compliance with safety standards and ensure standards are enforced.\nRemains current regarding developments in the field of radiology and attends training sessions to maintain knowledge as necessary.\nProvides input to staff interviews and makes hiring decisions.\nParticipates in the budgeting process and strives to maintain costs and meet the budget of supplies and clinical staffing operations.\nEnsures that all quality control tests and procedures are conducted and documented, and that performance of all equipment is accurate within established parameters to meet regulatory requirements.\nEnsures repairs are addressed in a timely manner.\n\n4 years of Imaging experience required.\nGraduate from an ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB Accredited School.\nAssociate's Degree in Radiologic Technology preferred.\nPrevious experience with Pediatrics and/or MRI preferred.\nPrevious supervisory experience preferred.\nEffective analytical ability and interpersonal skills.\n\n Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:CPR or BLS Required.
