In this role, you will have the opportunity to -
+ Oversee staff orientation and conduct annual performance evaluations to ensure staff competence, professional growth, and alignment with departmental goals.
+ Manage workflow, delegating tasks effectively to ensure operational efficiency, and maintain proper staffing levels while ensuring clear communication between staff and management.
+ Monitor staff performance by maintaining detailed records, conduct performance assessments, and address performance issues through constructive feedback and necessary interventions.
+ Promote staff engagement and empowerment through recognition programs, while prioritizing exceptional patient experiences and maintaining team motivation.
+ Assiss in the development and implementation of departmental policies, procedures, and quality assurance initiatives, ensuring staff compliance and clear communication of expectations.
+ Enforce safety standards by consistently monitoring employee adherence to regulations, providing training, and addressing non-compliance to ensure a safe work environment.
+ Stay current with advancements in radiology by attending relevant training sessions, workshops, and conferences to ensure knowledge and skills are up to date.
+ Participate in the hiring process by providing input during staff interviews and make informed hiring decisions, ensuring the team meets departmental needs and staffing requirements.
Required Qualifications
+ 4 years of imaging experience
+ Effective analytical ability and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
+ Associate's degree in radiologic technology
+ Previous supervisory experience
**Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**
+ Graduate from an ARRT, ARDMS, or NMTCB Accredited School
+ CPR or BLS Required, CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
+ Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within one year of hire or transfer.
+ ARRT Certificate OR Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (NMTC) OR Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
