**Supervisor Treasury Database - St. Mary's Hospital Troy NY - FT Days**
This position is on site, not Remote.
**POSITION SUMMARY**
The Treasury Database Supervisor SPHP, is responsible for leadership, operations and supervisory direction of the Quick Base Database that supports, and tracks cash collections related to the Epic platform. The supervisor is the local subject matter expert for the Quick Base Database. This position oversees and works on large data sets, provides guidance to support accurate, standard and efficient reporting, serves as a resource by developing, establishing and maintaining relationships with system office Epic accounting team, PBS K team, SPHP finance team and others across the system.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Responsible for the daily reconciliation of cash collections recorded in QuickBase to the cash received in the banking institutions for multiple SPHP affiliates
+ Oversees the validation of bank deposits to Epic and PeopleSoft assuring timely resolution of any discrepancies
+ Prepares monthly reports, analyses and cash flows of various corporate bank accounts
+ Oversees and ensures sound internal controls and segregation of duties for recording daily cash
+ Acts as liaison with divisions, PBS-K and system office treasury to assure accuracy, consistency and completeness of financial data.
+ Research and respond to inquiries from the SPHP financial divisions for transactional data within Quickbase and PeopleSoft general ledger.
+ In addition to the liaison role, takes the lead on developing efficient finance processes that will benefit all SPHP.
+ Coordinates and oversees the work papers and schedules required for external audit
+ Coordinates and oversees the timely and accurate completion of bank reconciliations of cash accounts for specific affiliates
+ Coordinates the timely and accurate reconciliations of unapplied legacy cash accounts for the Hospitals and Rehab Hospital accounts
+ Oversees the patient refund processes for the SPHP and RSD systems, including the timely issuing of checks, maintaining of check registers, and monthly related journal entries
+ Ensures the timely response to all check related inquiries from the patient refund shareholders across the SPHP and RSD system
+ Oversees the yearly submission of Abandon Property to New York State, related to the patient refund processes.
+ Leadership Accountabilities:
+ Knows, understands, incorporates and demonstrates the mission, vision and values of SPHP in behaviors, practices and decisions.
+ Supervises finance staff and performs all supervisory tasks associated with effective day to day operations of a team of individuals.
+ Leads responses to various audits.
+ Coordinates with other members of the SPHP and local Finance Teams to ensure consistency in the delivery of finance functions throughout the system.
+ Works with other leaders in the organization to support their understanding of finance and fiscal accountability.
**Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Healthcare Administration
+ Prior supervisory or managerial experience preferred.
+ Generally, requires 5 years of finance experience
+ Knowledge of database management and data analysis tools and applications
+ Experience working with large data sets and analysis
+ Experience and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
+ Critical financial thinking.
+ Financial Systems: PeopleSoft, Hyperion, Microsoft Office Suite - expertise in Excel, Access
+ Analysis and presentation of data.
+ Effective communication skills.
+ Financial Stewardship.
+ Extended hours of computer use.
**Pay Range:** $31.50 - $45.70
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
