Responsibilities:

Summary:

Responsibilities include any of the following activities related to the receiving, storing, and/or shipping of materials or finished goods: ensures materials are received from proper vendors, that they are delivered to inventory, and that finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped in a timely manner. Reviews receipt of all materials to ensure purchase orders are open and the quality of materials received is correct. Ensures the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control. Ensures materials are available to meet production schedules and/or products are shipped as per marketing schedules. Establishes and modifies operational methods and procedures. Maintains documentation to reflect the effectiveness and efficiency of department activities. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Your primary activities will include but are not limited to:

  • Supervises and conducts the safe and efficient handling, transporting and storage of materials
  • Understands the warehouse function specifically and manufacturing/packaging process as a whole in order to provide effective servicing
  • ??Monitors, measures and reports on warehouse related issues. Ensures good communication throughout the warehouse department and/or function. Ensures that warehouse associates are enforcing all Health and Safety rules and regulations, as well as strict adherence to SOPs and cGMPs. Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of department and services performed. Keeps management apprised of any condition that may impact production schedules?
  • Plans, implements, and monitors and performs the functions of the day-to-day operations for the warehouse department to ensure that established objectives for internal and external requests, shipping, staging, storage, sanitation, safety, and timeliness are met or exceeded
  • ??Aids in physical inventory and cycle counts within the warehouse. Aids in Audit preparation, execution and corrective actions?
  • ??Initiates, coordinates, and enforces systems, policies, and procedures. Manages, develops and motivates direct reporting staff by communicating job expectations and planning, monitoring, and appraising job results. Assists with performance evaluations; coaches, counsels, trains, and disciplines employees?
  • ??Maintains all warehouse related logs (transfers, RTS, Shipping, Receiving, Cleaning, Forklifts). Produces reports, including but not limited to End of Month, Daily Receipt, and Pallet?
  • ??Supervises warehouse environment, including conducting regular walk-throughs, documenting issues and effecting resolution of any physical hazards/logistic issues?
Qualifications:

Youll need the following (minimum qualifications):

  • High School Diploma, or equivalent.
  • 3- 5 years related experience, preferably in a food, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical processing operation, and/or FDA regulated industry.
  • Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages, rounding)
  • Effective training skills.
  • Strong analytical, critical/ strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills, with an emphasis on negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), and Outlook email and calendar capabilities.
  • Must be highly ethical, have strong integrity, and use value-based decision making.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, establishing priorities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively (verbal, written, and presentations) with other departments, leadership, staff, and internal and external clients.
  • Self-confident, self-motivated, collaborative professional who thrives in a challenging, fast- paced environment.
  • Servant leader who puts the interests of the broader team and the organizations goals ahead of their own personal agenda

A reasonable estimate of the current Salary range for this position is $70,000 to $80,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on skill level, experience, and/or education.
