To be considered, you must have hands-on experience in the wood industry and experience leading, training and developing a production team. Youll focus on providing leadership as they operate equipment safely, produce quality products, and achieve production targets.Youll be tasked with team building and need to understand the financial metrics and accounting for a sawmill operation. We need you to coach, teach, & build up people and celebrate the successes as well as hold your staff accountable for goals. Youll need skills such as communication, listening for understanding, team building, problem-solving, decision-making skills. Fully embrace safety compliance and lead by example. Youll need a solid understanding of product quality standards.
