DutiesServes as the Supply Chain Operations Manager, Supply Chain Directorate, HQ DeCA and Support Center.Manages the day-to-day execution of supply chain operation processes from the headquarters level.Manages and supports Division Chiefs in supply chain process execution.Mastery of Logistics Knowledge sufficient to direct, coordinate and supervise all Agency current logistical operations world-wide.Oversees supply chain management operations requiring the application of many different and unrelated processes, different regulatory, legal and treaty criteria and often significant departures from established procedures.Read the entire announcement before starting the application process.Requirements Conditions of EmploymentBe a U.S. citizen or national.Meet minimum age requirement. This position is covered under Administrative and Management Positions.Experience: One (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-14 grade level or equivalent to at least GS-14 under other Federal service pay systems, private sector, or military.Examples of qualifying experience include:Establishes formalized procedures to track changes to supply chain process design.Develops and manages the Agency supply chain strategic plan.Develops performance standards; appraises work, giving advice and/or instructions, as required.Plans, assigns and evaluates work; sets and adjusts priorities.Recommends budget and staffing requirements for the organization to ensure that mission workload can be met.You will receive credit for all relevant qualifying experience (paid and unpaid), including volunteer work done through National Service program (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social).Additional Requirements that must be met by the closing date:Physical requirements: Office job involving typical demands of such.
