Supplier Program Mgmt 3 Manassas, VA or Remote can be considered 9 months - Possible ext Working with Engineering Management and Program Management Office (PMO) representatives, support the resource staffing requirements and levels to ensure that key objective and milestone actions assigned to Contingent Labor and Purchased Services activities are achieved. Aurora Flight Sciences is engaged w/ several Engineering Services companies, several of whom support multiple programs. This role will monitor the performance, staffing and needs of Continent Labor / Purchased Services organizations. Ensuring they understand the work scope being shared as well as coordinate between the various programs at Aurora to balance demands to the external organizations. Key responsibilities for this position will include: - Support the onboarding and offboarding process for Engineering Contingent Labor (i.e., Monument) - Coordinate with Engineering Management and the PMO to ensure that adequate staffing levels and forecasts are maintained / statused. - Work with the Engineering Purchased Services organizations / vendors , PMO and Engineering Management to help coordinate and align Engineering Purchased Services SOW resources to help ensure that Program deliverables are met. - Conduct program and technical reviews, attend and brief at status meetings, and reports as needed or required. - Monitor and report on development progress including significant milestones, and any conditions, which would affect project cost or schedule. Establish regular meetings to review project status and formulate action items Education: - Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar. - PMP or equivalent certification. General Experience: - 7+ years of experience in Engineering based program, functional or project management - Experience in project management and execution of multiple enterprise-wide projects, particularly as a delivery lead on systems development, with working knowledge in all aspects of the systems development life cycle and project life - Experience in work planning, monitoring, and reporting - Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communications skills - Demonstrate capacity to engage effectively with technical professional staff - Proven experience managing teams delivering Aerospace technology solutions, both on-site and remote - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills - Solid teamwork and interpersonal skills - Proficient in MS Office and Project Management tools
