Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Description
+ Analyze supplier capacity and investment requests.
+ Engage with suppliers and supply chains.
+ Assess supplier weaknesses and provide solutions.
+ Monitor high-risk supplier development issues to prevent crises.
+ Develop supplier problem-solving techniques for identified issues.
+ Improve supplier production systems to prevent impact on operations.
+ Drive supplier operational excellence.
+ Set focused priorities to reach objectives.
+ Work in accordance with GTP processes, the Code of Conduct, and the Volvo Way.
+ Represent GTP at suppliers and escalate issues as needed.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ University degree required, preferably in engineering, business management, or supply chain management.
+ Supply chain quality and development and/or production experience.
+ Experience in the automotive or heavy commercial truck industry preferred.
+ Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
+ Accountability and project management capabilities.
+ Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
+ Strong integrity and creativity.
+ Flexibility and preparedness to travel with short notice.
Work Environment
Open work environment with no assigned desks. All employees sit in the same area and lockers are provided. Travel up to 40% of the time, primarily on the East Coast, but also to suppliers in IN, MI, and Mexico.
