Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Administrative Assistant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely order fulfillment and maintaining optimal inventory levels. You will work with suppliers and internal teams to facilitate smooth supply chain process.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Purchase Order Follow-Up: Monitor and follow up on all Purchase Orders (POs) placed that do not receive an order acknowledgment within three days. Proactively communicate with suppliers to resolve any issues.
  • Expediting Orders: Expedite POs for products when consumption rates exceed forecasts, ensuring timely delivery to prevent stock-outs and maintain service levels.
  • Past Due PO Management: Track and follow up on past due POs, updating delivery dates in the system as needed. Work closely with suppliers to address delays and implement solutions.
  • Price List Management: Assist with the upload and maintenance of price lists in the system, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for relevant teams.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including procurement, inventory management, and logistics teams, to ensure alignment on supply chain activities and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Reporting: Generate reports on PO statuses, stock levels, and supplier performance as needed to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Work with Suppliers on program modifications, product availability and on time delivery concerns. Negotiate and source product as needed but should be minimal.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Superior analytical skills and critical thinking capabilities a must.
  • Familiar with multi-branch and high sku inventory practices.
