Job Title: Business Professional - Supply Chain Analyst 3Work Location: Ridgefield Park, NJ, USADuration: 12 monthsJob Description: SEA Job title: B2C Forecast AnalystWork Schedule: Hybrid - 4 days of the week (May change to fully on-site)Education and Years of Experience:Undergraduate Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or similar and minimum 3 yearsSUMMARY:The Forecast Analyst will ensure AP1 forecasts are entered and updated for Other/Regional Accounts that may otherwise not be fully reviewed by Sales/Sales Ops or SCM. By ensuring AP1 is entered for all accounts, we can ensure RTF Supply can be automatically allocated to these accounts and improve our overall business visibility (e.g. revenue projection & gap analysis) for a 90+ day period.Based on workload analysis below, we anticipate the need for one head to support current B2C-IT Products with one additional head should we expand to support TV/AV/DI CE products.BENEFITS:•Business Planning- Improve Business Visibility 90+ Days to include all Accounts- Allow Account Managers to improve forecasts/projections for Key Accounts- Improved Gap Analysis for Revenue Projection Reports•Operational Efficiency (SCM KPI)- Ensure Forecasts are entered for Production Planning purposes- Secure RTF supply for all Accounts- Auto DO creation and Allocation for all Accounts•Improved Consensus between Sales/SCM/Marketing- Improved collaboration and support for smaller direct Accounts- Monitor Orders to Forecasts to minimize ATS Inventory and Aging- Ensure Supply is available for all projected demand•Prevent re-allocation to higher priority accounts- Early Warning for SCM DayDUTIES AND RESPONISIBLITIES•Develop AP1 Forecasts for a 12 week period for specific Accounts by Product Groups- Forecasts based on Historical Sales & Seasonality- Forecasts to reflect Marketing Promotions- Forecasts to align with SCM Supply Guidance- Forecasts confirmed by Sales Account Managers- Forecasts to reflect Product Transition (Product Life Cycle, EOL Management, Placeholder Forecasts)•AP1 Entry- Enter AP1 Forecasts in Excel/GSCM Weekly•Consensus Building- Weekly Report/Meeting with Sales Account Managers to review Forecasts- Consensus Meetings with Marketing and Supply Chain- SCM Day Review•CPFR- Attend Planning calls with Sales and Accounts as requiredPERFORMANCE STANDARDS•AP1 Input Rate (12 Weeks) - 70%•FA1 (AP1 Forecast Accuracy) - 59%•AP1/AP2 Consensus Rate - 85%•Sales Capability Index - 85%•Complete Individual Projects as requiredREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:•Background in Supply Chain, Finance, Accounting, Analysis, or similaro Minimum 3 years work experience in relevant field•Excellent Analytical and Computer Skillso High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Office Suite•Excellent Communications Skillso Must be comfortable presenting to and promoting consensus-building with Senior Management across multiple departments.•Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural business environment•Must be available to consistently work Overtime and on WeekendsSummary:The main function of a supply chain analyst is to coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments of an establishment according to production schedule. A typical supply chain analyst is responsible for reviewing and distributing production, work and shipment schedules and compiling reports on inventory levels, cost, etc.Job Responsibilities: Examine documents, materials and products, and monitor work processes in order to assess completeness, accuracy and conformation to standards and specifications. Review documents such as production schedules, work orders, and staffing tables to determine personnel and materials requirements, and material priorities. Record production data, including volume produced, consumption of raw materials, and quality control measures. Requisition and maintain inventories of materials and supplies necessary to meet production demands.Skills: Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, problem solving and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze costs related to manufacturing, labor and materials. Ability to accurately document and record customer/client information. Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to shipping and production. Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
