Data Analyst – Procurement Department

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver improved competitive analysis and reporting to support strategic sourcing by using the Panjiva Supply Chain Intelligence platform or similar sources.
- Implement reporting improvements using PowerBI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tools to support data-driven decision-making for the Procurement Team.
- Design and manage key market reporting to ensure uniform access to important information.
- Develop and maintain dashboards for the Procurement team and other stakeholders.
- Create and maintain a supplier rating system for suppliers of ingredients and services to our client's procurement.
- Serve as the Procurement budgeting lead.
- Manage monthly cost loaders to ensure accurate market price reporting is provided to the organization monthly.
- Lead cash and inventory forecast initiatives and reporting.
- Drive implementation and adherence to global purchasing policies to ensure inventory levels comply with corporate policy.
- Lead Procurement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency of the Procurement team, drive cost savings, and optimize inventory levels.
- Collaborate with the Procurement team to gain insights into the markets our client operates in and sources from.
- Participate in the initial stages of the organization's Lean Journey by providing insights and collaborating with the team to identify opportunities for streamlining processes and reducing redundant tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management data analytics, or a related field.
- Experience with ERP systems (ex. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or Dynamics 365)
- Proficiency in report development and data visualization tools (ex. PowerBI and Tableau).
- Proficiency in Excel is essential, as the employee will work with various reports and must collaborate with the team to effectively interpret and leverage the data presented.
- SQL experience.
- Demonstrated analytical experience and detail-oriented.
- Ability to analyze current workflows and propose effective strategies for process improvement and efficiency enhancement.
- Must be able to analyze and utilize company reports to develop and implement effective strategies.
