DescriptionSupply Chain Analyst Job Description:The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for examining sourcing, inventory planning, and warehouse capacity data to support improvements to our supply chain strategies.A proactive problem solver with highly analytical skills will be an excellent asset to our team.Responsibilities:
  • Analyze inventory data, forecast demand, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with supply chain objectives.
  • Evaluate and recommend optimal MRP settings, supporting sourcing and procurement decisions aimed at cost reduction, enhanced warehouse efficiency, and increased service levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement long-term supply chain strategies to ensure optimal stock levels and prevent stockouts.
  • Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports that provide real-time insights into key supply chain metrics, ensuring data is accessible and actionable for stakeholders.
  • Use FreshDirect's operating and business intelligence reporting platforms (SAP, Power BI, MS Excel) to analyze purchasing, inventory, and warehouse capacity data.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as needed, translating complex data insights into clear recommendations for decision-makers.
Education and Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in Business, Supply Chain, Data Analytics or related, or equivalent experience
  • One - Three (1-3) years' experience in highly analytical positions with increasing responsibilities
  • Proficiency in Power BI or similar data visualization tools; demonstrated ability to create user-friendly, impactful reports and dashboards.
  • Proven ability to evaluate large data sets and turn findings into actionable recommendations.
  • Prior work experience in grocery or CPG supply chain, operations, or manufacturing preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
  • Comfortable juggling and coordinating, or any other factor protected by federal, state, or local law.
  • Coordinating multiple projects across several channels simultaneously
  • Must be detail orientated with optimal organizational skills, a focus on teamwork, project management and follow-up
  • Outstanding and proven written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to present numerical data in a concise, logical and useful manner
  • Able to write for and work with a wide range of audiences, from executives to line workers
  • Enjoy operating in a fast-paced, team environment under time constraints
  • Working knowledge of SAP or like ERP system preferred
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI and SQL preferred
