Crimson Renewable Energy Holdings LLC and its subsidiaries (“Crimson”) are producers of renewable transportation fuels, specifically the largest producer of biodiesel in California.

Crimson customers ranging from major oil companies such as Chevron, Valero, and Philips 66 to national truck stop operators such as Pilot Flying J and Love's count on Crimson as a reliable and consistent supplier of ultra-low carbon biodiesel. Main Purpose:

The Supply Chain Analyst will be a leader in developing and maintaining systems that ensure timely and accurate inventory transactions. This role will focus on transactions pertaining to our third-party terminals as well as provide backup coverage for transactions pertaining to our plant in Bakersfield, CA.

The Supply Chain Analyst will be responsible for actualizing and reconciling inventory records for day-to-day transactions and broader reporting periods, such as end of month and yearly statements. They will also spur initiatives to drive efficient and sound reporting on contract obligations. The Supply Chain Analyst role is highly cross-functional and involves regular interactions with front, mid, and back office, as well as with outside customers and auditors.

We are looking for a self-starter who enjoys tackling complex problems and developing solutions. Candidates should have experience in participating in cross-functional projects and/or teams. They should also possess superb attention to detail when building reports and attending to routine tasks. The ideal candidate would have a background in supply chain, finance/accounting, or a combination of both. Advanced Excel and data management skills are also desired for this position.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Review and finalize receipts and shipments related to biodiesel and other products at third-party terminals, ensuring accuracy against inbound and outbound documentation.
  • Lead data reconciliation process in the ERP system (WinMan) related to inbound receipts and outbound shipments and triage discovered issues.
  • Oversee logistics data flows in the ERP system, escalate issues where necessary, and ensure accuracy of all contract obligations.
  • Maintain and distribute reports internally and externally for sales and purchasing contract obligations for biodiesel and other products.
  • Work with front, mid, and back office as well as operations and counterparties to resolve any discrepancies, including contract volume, pricing, shipment details, etc.
  • Provide back-up coverage for other members of the mid-office team, including price reporting, trade entry and acknowledgement, contract updates, and regulatory reporting.
  • Support logistics team daily by maintaining data related movements, inventory, and contracts at each third-party terminal.
  • Be a champion and initiator of process improvement throughout the company supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1 - 3 years of relevant experience using an ERP system is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
