Role Overview
Kodak is looking for a Supply Chain/SAP System Analyst and Data Engineer to join our Chemicals and Inks Manufacturing team in Rochester, NY
POSITION SUMMARY: Business/Supply Chain analyst supporting SAP use in Chemicals and Inks Manufacturing. You would be responsible for independently deriving data requested by organizational management. You will need to understand relational databases, and the hierarchies used to create complex materials through multiple stages to create products for internal Kodak use and External sales.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position involves interfacing with a variety of data systems across manufacturing sites, financial departments, health and safety organizations, and Kodak warehouses across the globe. Additionally, this position works closely with local technical experts who are responsible for manufacturing unique film components and complex film formulations. This position also assists and supports manufacturing/warehousing on logistical details, shipping, and sales. The successful data engineer will become fluent in SAP as it is applied to manufacturing. This person would become the local expert on SAP master data, the hierarchical set up of items, how information and materials flow and transform from one operational area to the next, and how the various manufacturing shop floor systems interface with each other and with SAP.
REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
* SAP (S4 HANA) experience
* In-depth understanding of SAP systems designs used in manufacturing, with ability to train others and troubleshoot issues
* Strong Excel skills
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
* Manufacturing background, chemical manufacturing a plus
* Ability to manage projects
* Sarbanes Oxley and auditing familiarity
* Ability to provide general SAP support to technical, warehouse and chemist team members
* Ability to be a supply and demand planner, and support Master Production Planners in the division
* Responsible for managing inventory processes such as forecasting and actuals reporting, and excess/obsolete/off-quality evaluations
* Responsible for general data/analysis support to the Operations Manager and the Technical Manager as required
* Responsible for providing data in required reporting format for programs such as REACH and Coupler Exemption Program
* Responsible for establishing new purchased, manufactured and salable material numbers in SAP in multiple plants, and assisting with updates
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
