We leverage these complementary strengths to amplify the capabilities of drivers, foster happiness, and elevate well-being.POSITIONAs a Supply Chain and Procurement Assistant Manager reporting to our Supply Chain and Procurement Team Manager, you will be empowered to work closely with stakeholders across Engineering and Corporate functions to deliver the goals and objectives with regards to external spend and partnerships with strategic suppliers.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work synergistically with other team members to contribute to create a strong Procurement and Supply Chain team in Woven by Toyota U.S. and U.K.
- Take ownership of the assigned scope of role and responsibility, to which a wide range of Procurement / Supply Chain actions including spend analysis, strategy creation and stakeholder alignment, supplier negotiations and selections through RFx, delivery management are required.
- Help Team Manager to develop Procurement and Supply Chain strategies aligning with each business unit's goals and processes.
- Run RFQs and/or RFPs and negotiate with suppliers to achieve best-in-industry costs and quality to meet targets and to achieve the expectations from business units.
- Drive cost reduction through clean sheet analysis, and optimization of supplier base.
- Must be willing to roll up their sleeves and complete multiple tasks under pressure, while assessing, managing and mitigating risks.
- Negotiate and close contracts with suppliers at competitive price points at the speed required to support a growing business.
- Communicate effectively at all levels and escalate issues appropriately.
- Ensure compliance to Woven by Toyota's rules and policies by effectively communicating and educating members of business units.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven experience (5+ years) in Procurement / Supply Chain or strategic negotiation roles.
- Proven experience (3+ years) in autonomous vehicle industry.
- Experience in complex negotiations of variety of contractual agreement with suppliers including IP licensing related agreements.
- Profound understanding of the High-tech Silicon/Semiconductor industry.
- Experience in driving RFPs/RFQs as a Procurement / Supply Chain member.
- Deep knowledge in sourcing/purchasing including Supplier Relationship Management.
- Demonstrated success in a metrics-oriented environment and an ability to create, track, analyze and report out on metrics.
- Experience in using software tools for Procurement / Supply Chain to ensure a smooth procure-to-pay process by collaboratively working with Finance and stakeholders.
- Outstanding skill for Internal and External Stakeholder Relationship Management.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and presentation skills; ability to evaluate and analyze data and to present to executive leadership.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- MS Degree or MBA.SALARY$94,500-$155,250 a year. Your base salary is one part of your total compensation. We offer a base salary, short term and long term incentives, and a comprehensive benefits package. The California pay scale for this full-time position is $94,500-$155,250.
