Principle Accountabilities
- Work as a liaison between Supply Chain/Procurement/Logistics and various departments to support departmental needs and various projects.
- Partners with the BI team and other IT resources in the development of interactive statistical tools to highlight trends.
- Building reporting dashboards for both internal and external sources.
- Track and analyze supplier information, including but not limited to: pricing trends, rebates and contracts.
- Create ad-hoc queries and reports as requested and provide on-going analytical support for these requests.
- Track and stay up to date on market research and trends as it pertains to the department.
- Participate in or lead the evaluation of requests for new or modified process and procedural improvements within the department and determine feasibility, cost and time required for modification or new processes.
- SQL Experience.
- Utilize and optimize current tools used by the department.
- Provide creative solutions to department leaders and also contribute ideas to improve the function and reliability from the various departments.
- Act as project leader for assigned projects.
- Develop documentation to support processes and procedures for users.
- Additional tasks as requested by manager.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Business, Finance and 0-3 years experience.
- Experience with WebFocus or similar BI tools.
- Strong analytical ability. Ability to collect information, develop solutions, and seek different perspectives and ideas from others.
- Must have excellent skills in MS Office / Excel along with experience with report writing and query tools.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a group environment, participate on and/or lead teams, participate in developing solutions and gain consensus within and beyond the group for the solutions developed.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical ability.
- Clear, articulate oral communication skills projected with confidence, as well as the ability to listen, understand, and comprehend other coworkers and clients while portraying a professional and positive attitude.
- Willing to learn new skills, knowledge, and techniques focusing of industry practices, technology and business practices.
