Position Summary The Supply Clerk orders, retrieves and stocks patient care unit/divisional supplies. Responsibilities:
- Assist with adding new supply items or remove supply items from pyxis machines
- Check pyxis for missing labels, broken buttons, broken bins, etc. and facilitate fixing
- Conduct a complete inventory of pyxis supply items and counts
- Organize/straighten up supply room, pyxis supply bins, and shelves
- Reconcile temporary patients from pyxis patient list
- Remove expired supplies and update supply expiration dates
- Restock returned/unused supplies into pyxis
- Retrieval of items from the stockroom to address short-term supply need
- Retrieve specialty items from stockroom or other areas throughout the hospital
- Return items to stockroom
- Review and update pyxis inventory counts
- Review pyxis low/critical inventory report
Minimum Requirements - High School Diploma
- Less than 1 year of supply or warehouse experience with shipping & receiving activity.
