This position is onsite in Fort Worth however, exceptions for alternate work arrangements may be considered.Strategic SourcingBell has an opening in our Fort Worth, TX headquarters for an experienced Supply Chain Procurement Contracts Professional with USG Military/Defense Contracting experience to support a role in Bell's New Aircraft Product Development Programs.In this role, you are responsible for establishing optimal long-term and high-dollar procurement contracts that enables the Supply Chain Organization and Programs to achieve its strategic objectives. This Contracting Professional works directly with the Integrated Products Team Lead and Program Team to identify and contract with the appropriate sources for new and existing aircraft subsystems.What you'll be doing as a Supply Chain Contract SpecialistPrimary activities include evaluating current and existing suppliers for fit with strategic purchasing contracts, preparing, and issuing requests for proposal (RFPs), and facilitating the bid evaluation and down-selection process.Mentors and guides peers on the procurement process.Prepares negotiation strategies and conducts contract negotiations, employing cost scenario models, contracting strategy techniques, and negotiation support tools to advance the commodity's key supply chain objectives, and finalizes contract awards.Manages complex, high dollar procurements and cost-based contracts, terms and conditions, FAR 12 & 15 contracts.Build collaborative relationships with vendors and internally across Bell's engineering, manufacturing, finance, and military program teams.In all activities, the Supply Chain Contracts Specialist ensures compliance with all government contracting regulations and internal administrative requirements.QualificationsSkills You Bring To this RoleExperience in Strategic Sourcing, Supplier and Commodity Mgmt, supplier relationships, Contracts, Supply Chain Management, project managementSupplier Development and total cost of ownershipAnalytical experience in a commoditySupply chain management in new product development experience· Experience applying Six Sigma / Lean Principles / Tools.· Preferred proficiency in SAP, CLM, ENOVIA, QlikView, PowerBI, or other similar software application.Strong business acumen.Ability to deal well with ambiguity.Strong negotiating skills.Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.What you need to be successfulBachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Technology/Management, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting.10 years' experience of financial analysis, cost analysis of commodity, service, program management, commodity management, strategic sourcing, supplier relations, supplier development, cost contracting, and total cost of ownership.What we offer you in returnYou'll be off every other Friday with our 9/80 work schedule80 hours of Personal Time Off (PTO)120 hours Vacation time12-13 paid holidays per year6 weeks parental leaveTuition reimbursementCompetitive salaryComprehensive health insuranceOn-site clinic, pharmacy, physical therapy, and licensed counselorAccess to more than 11 Employee Resource GroupsAnd so much moreIt's time to make your mark on the future of aviation.
