Position Summary
This position performs all processes related to material follow up. Provides visibility to management by tracking, processing, auditing, researching and trouble-shooting issues specific to material follow up. Manage material flow from suppliers through to the parts distribution centers. Refers to operational standards and processes to make decisions impacting supplier ship dates and overall customer requirements. Interacts and owns relationship with suppliers on behalf of the customer to ensure parts are shipped on time.
This position is located at the Penske facility in Dearborn, MI. Candidate must be willing to work 5 days onsite Monday Friday (8am-4:30pm) during launch and training. We will then migrate to a hybrid modal of 3 days in the office 2 days remote Monday Friday (8am-4:30pm). This is subject to change if the business dictates a need to be back in the office 5 days a week.
