We are looking for a SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATOR to join our 100% EMPLOYEE-OWNED team.
Shift: 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday

Minimum Job Requirements
- Physical- Sedentary work, proficient in using a PC keyboard
- Working Hours - Full time (40+ hours)
- Personal Traits - Good communication skills with positive teamwork attitude. Conscientious attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow direction and or work independently, able to multi-task and trouble shoot. Punctuality and safe work habits.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Request quotes from suppliers and negotiate with them on the Company's behalf to obtain the best possible value and terms
- Issue purchase orders based on requests from the organization
- Monitor lead times to ensure shipments are received before production deadlines
- Review job requirements and create purchase orders and negotiate with subcontractors to meet deadlines
- Update and maintain supplier master records as directed
- Maintain and keep records in accordance with ISO/AS9100 Quality standards.
- Review and code credit card statements
- Issue job travelers and schedule jobs in manufacturing software
- Keep Production Supervisor or Plant Manager advised of any changes in lead times or expected ship dates
- Work with Production Supervisor or Plant Manager to ensure manufacturing resources are used optimally
- Cycle count inventories in order to keep manufacturing data within Epicor ERP.
- Close jobs daily after assuring that reporting is correct and that paperwork has been turned in
- Work closely with Production Supervisor on any inventory or scheduling concerns that identified
- Other ad hoc duties as requested.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Good understanding of purchasing techniques and ability to effectively negotiate with suppliers, to ensure the best prices, terms, and conditions for the company.
- Understanding of scheduling methods and inventory control, preferred
- Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate with supervisors and suppliers with tact and professionalism
- Knowledgeable in all manufacturing processes to understand material needs, production schedules, and cycle counting requirements.
- Basic math skills
- Experienced in the use of Word, Excel, and an ERP computer application
- Strong organizational skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and handle time-sensitive issues efficiently.
- Ability to work well within a team environment, with a positive attitude, and the ability to build relationships with suppliers and other employees.
Education and Experience
- Previous experience in purchasing, inventory control, or scheduling in a manufacturing environment preferred.
