Who You Are
As a member of the Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) GE SST team, you'll be the Subcontract Management Staff, responsible for a new F-35 development contract with the opportunity to partner in a cohesive team, and empowered to lead a complex, international assignment
What You Will Be Doing
As an essential global integrator and teammate, these responsibilities are strategically important to program goals.
Specific duties include:
* Completing requests for proposals, proposal evaluations, complex contract negotiations, and compliant purchase order documentation
* Interfacing with internal organizations such as F-35 Program Office & Engineering Teams, as well as suppliers; to successfully lead an integrated project team to achieve key results
* Development of subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms & conditions for the procurement of specialized systems, equipment, materials, and services

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university
* Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures (associated knowledge of FAR / DFAR requirements)
* Program Management or Project Management experience
Desired Skills:
* Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 10 years of professional experience; or 8 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree.
* Experience with with development contract
* Experience leading a cross-functional team
* Buyer experience working US DoD contracts
* Experience managing major suppliers
* Cross-functional knowledge of Supplier Quality and Engineering as they relate to subcontract management

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
