Employment Type:Full timeShift:Day ShiftDescription:Position PurposeReceives, checks and stocks all incoming supplies. Inventories, puts up and distributes supplies, equipment, and mail throughout the hospital campus.What you will doProperly identifies and marks all patient charge items using stickers or cardsDelivers medical surgical supplies, on demand supplies and STATs as assigned Keeps accurate records on all storeroom transactions for which he/she may be responsibleAccurately inventories all assigned areas and commodities to maintain established par levels and monitors supplies in various nursing departmentsEnsures rotation of stock in all assigned departments and the storeroom; transports supplies, mail etc. between and within both facilitiesMinimum QualificationsHigh school or equivalent for regularly scheduled positionsOne year storeroom or related experienceMust be able to communicate in EnglishPosition Highlights and BenefitsFull time 40hrs M-F days.Great Benefits and Health Insurance Coverage—starting Day One!Career growth and advancement potential​Ministry/Facility InformationMercy Medical Center has established itself as one of the leading providers of health care services in Western Massachusetts.
