Job Description:
Description The Supply Chain Lead will lead the end-to-end supply chain operations, ensuring seamless coordination between procurement, inventory management, logistics, and production. The Supply Chain Lead will be responsible for developing strategies to optimize processes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times while maintaining high-quality standards in our manufacturing operations. 5 Keys Responsibilities
  • ERP system expertise for purchasing, planning, MRP, and BOMs.
  • Strong analytical skills, pivot tables, and data management.
  • English communication, verbal and writing.
  • Prior experience in plastics injection molding, manufacturing, or similar industry
  • Ability to travel internationally as needed.
  • Experienced in scheduling production floor, level loading, and WIP.

  • Oversee all supply chain activities including procurement, supplier management, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies to support production and customer needs, ensuring on-time delivery and cost-effectiveness.
  • Confer with vendors, staff, and management personnel regarding purchases, product and production specifications, manufacturing capabilities, or project status.
  • Review production schedules, engineering specifications, orders, and related information to obtain knowledge of manufacturing methods, procedures, and activities.
  • Complete production reports, purchase orders, and material, tool, and equipment lists.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts with suppliers to ensure quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery of materials.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in supply chain processes, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, or minimize costs.
  • Implement methods and procedures for disposition of discrepant material and defective or damaged parts and assess cost and responsibility.
  • Maintain ERP systems, including indented BOMs with engineering, and other tools to enhance supply chain and automation.
  • Schedule deliveries based on production forecasts, material substitutions, storage and handling facilities, and maintenance requirements.
  • Manage and mentor the supply chain team to ensure high performance and professional growth.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in a plastics manufacturing environment
Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
  • Strong understanding of supply chain, logistics, and inventory management principles
  • Injection molding experience
  • Experience with metal machining, fabrication and forming
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing and developing a team
Work Environment: Office setting Manufacturing floor environments Controlled temperature environments Expected Hours of Work This is a Full-Time Salary position required to work Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends. Travel: Up to 50% to start, 25% after 6 months.

Pay Range $83,000.00 Annually to $115,000.00 Annually
