We are seeking a Supply Chain Lead will be responsible for the business with external entities (purchasing parts/equipment/item, contracting to have both technical and non-technical service from experts), logistics, receiving, maintenance of warehouse as well as inventory management.
Duties:
- Responsible to lead the team in its activity of procurement, contracting, logistics, receiving, and inventory management which includes the creation of its best environments, workflow, and methods.
- For the procurement and contract, achieve the best-reasonable price and lead time with required quality through the negotiation with supplier.
- For logistics, deliver on time with no damage with reasonable price.
- Provide the best quality of Inventory management, manage warehouse, and distribute of item to users.
- Keep company governance and take actions to be compliance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders in supporting their sourcing needs and provide necessary guidance regarding procurement process.
- Develop the process of SCM to improve efficiency.
- Propose the strategy and goal of SCM team which meets company and project directions and generate and track achievements for the goals.
- Partner with Finance, Program manager, and Regional entities in support of their respective needs
- Assess and optimize procurement functions based on Cost effectiveness, Accuracy of delivery
- Establish risk assessment tracking methodology to ensure business continuity.
- Source, evaluate, and select competitive suppliers. This includes visiting supplier facilities to determine capabilities.
- Mentor members of team to increase total capability in the area.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience 8+ years' Aerospace industry professional experience in Procurement
- Aerospace Development and Certification programs experience strongly preferred
- Must have strong experience of Purchasing and Contract negotiation.
- Experience in global company is preferred.
- Experience to manage inventory. (or the experience to manage PIC of inventory)
- Must have knowledge of Aerospace parts
- Must have a broad knowledge of procurement methodologies
- The ability to understand business and strategic goals as well as organization policy
- Strong leadership and managerial skills with appropriate experience
- Organizational and time management skills
- Strong Leadership, decision making and communication skills
- Working experience with SAP ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning)
- Strong ability to understand and share data between enterprise systems
- Experience of Aerospace development programs is strongly preferred
- Excellent problem-solving skills across multi-disciplinary skill sets
- Ability to assist and train colleagues in the use of enterprise systems
