Supply Chain Leader to join a thriving company in Pasadena, Texas. The
Supply Chain Leader will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing all aspects of supply chain operations—including procurement, logistics, inventory management, warehouse functions, and vendor relations—to ensure overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness.Job Type: Direct-HirePay Rate: $180,000 - $200,000/annuallySupply Chain Leader Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of procurement, inventory, logistics, and distribution.
- Manage warehouse functions to ensure optimal storage, handling, and order fulfillment.
- Cultivate strong relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure both quality and cost-efficiency.
- Track and adjust stock levels to prevent shortages or surpluses.
- Coordinate timely and cost-effective transportation and distribution of goods.
- Evaluate and refine warehouse and supply chain procedures to boost efficiency.
- Examine supply chain data, monitor key performance indicators, and report on performance metrics.
- Partner with various departments to ensure supply chain operations align with overall business objectives.
- Identify and apply enhancements to streamline processes and reduce costs.
Supply Chain Leader Skills and Abilities:
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Excel.
Supply Chain Leader Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain or business-related degree.
- 8+ years of experience in supply chain, preferably in the trucking or logistics industry.
- Experience leading a team is a plus.
- Experience optimizing daily supply chain operations, working with vendors, and improving processes
