Job DetailsJob Details:We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our growing team in the food production industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing all aspects of the supply chain, from inventory management to logistics, strategic planning, and forecasting. This position is perfect for someone with a keen analytical mindset who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives. Responsibilities:As a Supply Chain Manager, you will:1. Develop and implement strategic plans to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations.2. Oversee end-to-end supply chain management, including procurement, inventory management, logistics, and distribution.3. Utilize ERP systems for demand planning and forecasting to ensure optimal inventory levels.4. Manage relationships with 3PL providers, ensuring SLAs are met and cost-effective solutions are implemented.5. Analyze and interpret syndicated data to inform decision-making processes.6. Lead cost reduction initiatives across the supply chain, identifying areas for potential savings and efficiency improvements.7. Ensure the timely and efficient delivery of perishable foods, maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.8. Drive continuous improvement efforts within the supply chain, identifying opportunities for process enhancements.9. Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, including sales, marketing, and finance, to align supply chain processes with business goals.Qualifications:To be successful in this role, you should have:1. A Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. An MBA or other relevant post-graduate qualification is a plus.2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management within the food production industry, with a focus on perishable foods.3. Proven experience with inventory management, logistics management, strategic planning, and forecasting.4. Strong knowledge of Syndicated data with a strong analytical mindset. 5. Demonstrated success in driving cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.6. An analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights.7. Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to manage and motivate a team.8. Experience with 3PL management, with a track record of successful vendor relationships.9.
