Overview: Reporting to the Chief Logistics Officer, the Supply Chain Operations Specialist plays a critical role in the smooth functioning of the Supply Chain by translating high-level data into user-friendly insights. This position requires a blend of technical acumen, effective communication skills, and a personable demeanor to ensure that product flows through the supply chain timely and efficiently. The Supply Chain Operations Specialist will be responsible for analyzing operational data, optimizing processes, and delivering clear, actionable reports and presentations. Responsibilities:Data Analysis & Interpretation: - Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement. - Translate complex technical data into consumable formats. - Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support decision-making. - Managing inventory flow reporting and daily inventory volume. - Report product issues to the merchandising team for resolution. - Maintain accurate records of inventory levels by identifying discrepancies from Warehouse Management/Allocation/Merchandising systems. - Liaise with Merchandising and P&A team to forecast product flow through the supply chain. - Monitor product flow and measure supply chain performance. Communication & Presentation: - Present data findings and insights to Supply Chain management and staff in a clear and concise manner. - Prepare and deliver training sessions to help employees understand Supply Chain system functionalities. - Create user-friendly documentation and guides for DC systems and processes. Process Optimization: - Collaborate with IT and operations teams to identify and implement process improvements. - Monitor system performance and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and productivity. - Assist in the development and execution of project plans for process upgrades and S.O.P implementations. Support & Troubleshooting: - Liaise with IT to resolve technical problems and ensure system reliability. - Liaise with DC, Inventory Control and Merchandise teams to resolve inventory discrepancies. Stakeholder Engagement: - Work closely with DC, Merch, and P&A to understand their data needs and challenges. - Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and collaboration. - Ensure that all stakeholders are informed and aligned on relevant system changes and updates. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in business, Data Analytics, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in data analysis/data science. - Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau). - Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Personable and approachable with a customer service-oriented attitude. - Understanding of Supply Chain Operations. - Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. - Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies. - Advanced certifications in data analytics. Working Conditions: This role is primarily based in the distribution center with occasional travel to other company locations as needed.
