Job Description:
Schneider Electric has an opening for a SC Performance Cluster Leader to lead our CTO/Electronics operations in GSC NAM. As the Supply Chain Performance Cluster Leader, you'll be responsible for optimization of physical & information flows, surface, lead time, direct labor and equipment efficiency through leading and coaching lean diagnoses of the end-to-end supply chain.What do you get to do in this position? *This position required travel expectations up to 50% within NAM* Challenge Performance Across all SC Domains
  • Identify & quantify potential stakes existing on global performance.
  • Support Layout design, plan for material storage facility (i.e. different types of line architecture, racking systems, queues, bins, etc.).
  • Support to Implement Industry best practices like Visual management, Warehouse Management System, KANBAN, etc.
  • Support with Safety, Customer Satisfaction & Quality (process robustness), Supply Chain Deployment (LTIP).
  • Collaborate to create shared improvement road-map with Plants to achieve targets.
  • Participate to the decision-making process for all investments (new product introduction, capacity, kaizen, etc.).
  • Challenge and support the entities to co-deliver targets (i.e. DLP, lead-time, organizational efficiency, internal process capacity & on-time delivery).
Deliver Innovative Breakthroughs
  • Precisely capture the needs and participate in the search for solution.
  • Lead proof of concept projects before proceeding to validation for deployment.
  • Anticipate new technologies & methodologies & their associated skill requirements.
Standardize and Deploy for Exemplary Results
  • Support the animation of the Schneider Production System at entity level.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of the Schneider Production System.
  • Design, evolve, deploy & manage standards, methodologies and tools, exploiting the good2Great process through leveraging the network of Subject Matter Experts (SME's).
Train & Coach for Sustainability
  • Manage the competency referential for Operations Management, Methods & Maintenance & Supply Chain Performance functions
  • Co-assess current competencies vs referential to identify gaps and support local action plan creation
  • Transfer the necessary skills through training whilst doing to grow and sustain competencies
  • Deliver a constant flow of talent being the principle contributor to the potential key position holder pool; detect, attract, develop & prepare talent for the future through robust 3E management
  • Contribute to build, with Global Supply Chain academy, an efficient training offer & where necessary deliver the training ensuring a consistently high level of knowledge transfer.
What qualifications will make you successfully for this role?
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline is required, Master's degree is a plus.
  • Over 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, influencing, and convincing skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
  • Strong working knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and lean manufacturing.
  • At least 5 years focused on lean manufacturing, with preference for certification as a Lean Expert and experience leading SPS assessments.
