  • External manufacturing dept interacts with third party manufacturers to comanufacture/Copack products. The team works to ensure packaging and donors arrive on time to produce to schedule and deliver finished product back to distribution centers.
  • Manager actively develops talent and looks for opportunity to insource contractors.
  • Detail oriented and willing to learn. The team actively supports each other and will teach the new contractor how the business works and help them learn.
  • Successfully engaging EM partners to deliver against plan. Delivery of spec packages to our partner companies to enable correct manufacturing.
  • 30/60/90 onboarding to bring up to speed on work practices, then fully onboarded and working.
  • When EM analysts are promoted, this worker would have the chance to manage more technically advanced sites and we would backfill this role. Eventually this could lead to onboarding as an associate when positions open.
  • Learning how to build spec packages for sites to refer to in manufacturing our products.

  • This is typically a Assignment with significantly more authority and responsibility at this Assignment level. It should be selected to recognize differences which are not enough to be represented by a separate Assignment level, such as increased proficiency in skills/competencies to perform responsibilities, greater impact to the business unit, customer, segment, geography, etc. May also provide guidance or leadership to other Associates.

  • Distribution beginning with the supplier of materials or components, extending through a manufacturing process to the distributor and retailer, and ultimately to the consumer. Plans and coordinates the major physical distribution and materials management activities of the business unit, including distribution, transportation, production planning and inventory planning and control; may also be responsible for customer service and ordering processes. Defines and directs the strategic supply direction needed to achieve long term operating and profit goals. May be accountable for plant operations and/or multi-site operations, which provide products that meet quality, cost, volume and service criteria. Is responsible for the delivery of the financial results for all supply related activities.
Supply Chain Planning
  • Manages or performs the work associated with supply planning functions including production, materials and inventory control functions, often including multiple facilities. Responsible for couples of the following: production planning and control and master scheduling, forecasts materials, builds/validates forecast models, plans and/or controls inventory of finished goods for sales warehouses, distribution centers, and factory mixing points to meet sales and distribution demand. Analyzes supply and inventory levels, inventory positioning, and planned production and sales forecasts.
  • Supports business execution of new programs and initiatives that include promotional activities, forecast and coordination for key events, new product launches, and network redesigns. Monitors key sales and operations planning performance indicators, cost-to-serve performance data, and coordinates cross-functional work teams to increase effectiveness of supply chain initiatives.
Experience & Education:
  • Bachelors of Science in supply chain, accounting, finance, or other engineering/manufacturing related fields
  • 2-5 years in manufacturing, accounting, or supply chain/logistics
  • Advanced Excel, communicating effectively, detail oriented
  • SAP, Veritas, other ERP systems
  • Not local. Must have a moderate level of learning agility and be able to improve work processes
  • Bachelors of Science
  • 5-10 years in manufacturing, accounting, or supply chain/logistics
  • SAP, Finance, Manufacturing
