Job Summary:
A Planner is primarily responsible for taking ownership of products. This includes but not limited to monitoring customer service and optimized inventory levels through detailed data analysis and managing the end-to-end resupply planning process.
This role involves analyzing demand forecasts, executing order release, troubleshooting inventory/transactional discrepancies, and collaborating with cross functional teams to deliver to company objectives. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively are crucial for success in this position.
* Manages inventory at both product and item level to achieve organizational goals through product availability and inventory optimization.
* Executes the resupply plan through local and global packaging and distribution functions.
* Works closely with Manufacturing Planning Teams and the Global Supply Chain Team in support of global service, inventory level goals and to resolve supply chain issues.
* Provides input and executes to monthly Demand and Operations Planning process.
* Delivers to Commercials new product launch expectations and supports product lifecycle through to discontinuation.
* Monitors resupply of products using CooperVision's business analytic tools to identify priorities and to ensure a high level of customer service.
* Makes planning decisions and recommends opportunities to improve resupply policy.
* Communicates effectively and timely through supply chain hierarchy and key external stakeholders to highlight potential risks and opportunities.
* Participates on behalf of Supply Chain Planning for continuous improvement and change management projects.
* Supports team members in planning strategies and best practices.
* Troubleshoots and resolves transactional/inventory/system discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution.
* Provides insightful recommendations to bridge the gap between business process and Planning system configurations.
* Ensures compliance with inventory policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Travel:
5% domestic and international travel.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
* Proficient in the use of Excel, Word and PowerPoint; advanced skillset preferred.
* Strong analytical skills with an ability to utilize data from multiple sources.
* Able to utilize ERP and Planning systems; knowledge/experience with Oracle and Logility or o9 preferred.
* Willing and able to travel to global locations (preferred).
* Outstanding communication skills required - verbal, written and presentation.
* Able to work effectively on an independent basis, or within a team environment (team environment with independent work, requiring significant interaction with peers, customers and colleagues).
* Able to work in a Regulated environment, which includes the ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's).
Work Environment:
* Prolonged sitting in front of a computer.
* Normal office environment; may visit warehouse floor environment for periods of time.
Experience:
* 2+ years of Supply Chain/Planning or related experience preferred.
* Experience working in a Regulated environment preferred.
* ERP/Planning software experience required; Logility or O9 preferred.
Education:
* Associates degree in related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Completion of, or in progress of, APICS, CPIM, or CSCP Certification strongly desired.

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $58,948.00 and $78,597.00 per year and may include cost of living adjustments. The actual base pay includes many factors and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
