**Role Definition**
The Supply Chain Planning Engineer (Warehouse Lead) is responsible for facility supply chain performance levels and corporate targets for inventory reduction, increasing inventory turns, and improving order-to-delivery results. This position leads facility efforts to run multiple projects to develop and implement the plan for every part, pull material replenishment, warehousing, autonomy, and improved throughput efficiency.
**Responsibilities**
+ Warehouse strategy and planning
+ Warehouse facility health
+ Capacity forecast planning
+ Supplier relationship management for external Warehousing
+ Strategic Buffer Planning
+ Deliver on key critical OPACC Improvement Initiatives including automated material handling and Warehouse optimization
+ Identifying, defining, and implementing integrated supply chain solutions and performance improvements, including building internal and external alliances to explore opportunities.
+ Establishing effective linkages, partnerships, and best practices with business partners and internal functions.
+ Investigating and incorporating industry benchmarks, metrics and best practices to develop optimal supply chains for suppliers and/or product sets.
+ Developing and analyzing data and information to identify and prioritize opportunities for improving performance and creating more cost-effective supply chains, inventory utilization, and business partnerships.
**Degree Requirement**
Degree or equivalent experience desired
**Skills You Must Have**
Core Application Systems: _Level Working Knowledge_
Knowledge of major production application systems used for delivery of services to internal and external clients; ability to leverage major production application systems in diverse situations.
Effectiveness Measurement: _Level Working Knowledge_
Knowledge of effective measurement techniques and ability to measure the quality and quantity of work effort for the purpose of improvement.
Project Administration: _Level Basic Understanding_
Knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
Standard Operating Procedures: _Level Basic Understanding_
Knowledge of established standard operating procedures (SOP); ability to design, implement and evaluate standard operating procedures affecting daily and strategic business operations in order to
increase operational efficiency.
Conflict Management: _Level Working Knowledge_
Knowledge of managing conflicts; ability to anticipate, recognize, and deal effectively with
existing or potential conflicts at the individual, group, or situation level.
Vendor/Supplier Management: _Level Basic Understanding_
Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g. vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants and suppliers).
Supply Chain Management - PHA: _Level Working Knowledge_
Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials, components and supplies, and delivery of finished products.
Vendor/Supplier Evaluations & Certification: _Level Working Knowledge_
Knowledge of vendor/supplier evaluations and certification; ability to develop and use, strategies, practices and tools for evaluating, selecting and certifying vendors, suppliers and partners.
