We are seeking a Supply Chain Planning Manager to oversee planning and coordination for a designated business unit. This role is pivotal in harmonizing demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory management to meet customer needs and achieve organizational objectives. The successful candidate will work collaboratively across various departments, including supply chain functions, manufacturing, sales, finance, and marketing, to meet KPIs such as fill rate, productivity, and inventory turnover.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collect and analyze data from diverse sources, including POS systems, ERP platforms, sales history, and customer forecasts, to generate accurate demand forecasts in collaboration with sales, marketing, manufacturing, purchasing, and distribution teams.
- Prepare and present reports in Excel and PowerPoint for internal analysis and stakeholder communications, utilizing strong relational database skills to present data clearly and effectively.
- Develop a comprehensive purchasing and production plan for finished goods, materials, and components by integrating the demand forecast with current inventory levels and production schedules.
- Use statistical forecasting tools, like Logility, to create an 18-month forecast at SKU, customer, and business unit levels, forming the basis for supply planning and financial projections.
- Contribute significantly to the S&OP process by developing accurate forecasts and supply plans that meet customer expectations and support business goals, including achieving optimal fill rates, inventory levels, financial targets, and production efficiency.
- Participate actively in planning, forecasting, and budgeting meetings, leading supply planning discussions with purchasing and production teams while ensuring cross-functional alignment to resolve supply chain challenges.
- Manage inventory effectively to maximize inventory turnover, address excess and near-expiration stock, and optimize SKU management to support operational goals and reduce waste.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- 4-5 years of experience in inventory planning and replenishment, preferably in the consumer packaged goods industry.
- Highly analytical, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with business processes, cycles, and ERP systems.
- Proficient in forecasting software for statistical forecasting.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with strong written and verbal communication.
